Garlic Pesto Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
| 3/4 cup | 177ml | Chicken broth - (low fat) |
| 1/2 cup | 20g / 0.7oz | Basil leaves - (fresh -, loosely packed) |
| 3 | Garlic cloves peeled | |
| 4 tablespoons | 60ml | Parmesan cheese - grated |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Olive oil |
| Salt and pepper to taste |
Heat broth to boiling. Combine ingredients in blender or food processor; process until basil and garlic are minced. (Or by hand, use a mortar and pestle.)
Mash basil and garlic together, then mix with remaining ingredients.)
