Garlic Cream Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Margarine - butter, or spread |
2 | Garlic cloves - finely chopped | |
1 | Cream cheese - - (3 oz), cut into cubes | |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Milk |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chopped fresh chives |
(or 1 tsp freeze-dried chives) |
Melt margarine in 10-inch skillet over medium heat. Cook garlic in margarine about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened; reduce heat to low.
Stir cream cheese and milk into garlic mixture.
Cook about 1 minute, stirring constantly, until smooth and hot.
Stir in chives.
Serving suggestions: pour over grilled pork chops.
Yields 6 servings.
