Cocktail Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Prepared chili sauce |
2 1/2 teaspoons | 12ml | Prepared horseradish - drained |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Kosher salt |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Tabasco sauce - plus extra for seasoning |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Fresh lemon juice - plus extra for seasoning |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Gin |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chopped flat-leaf parsley freshly ground black pepper. |
In a medium-size bowl, combine the chili sauce, horseradish, salt, 1 1/2 teaspoons Tabasco, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, gin and parsley. Season to taste with additional lemon juice, Tabasco, salt and pepper.
Cover and refrigerate the dish until you are ready to serve it.
Yield: 1 1/2 cups.
