Cider-Lemon Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Apple cider |
1/3 cup | 65g / 2.3oz | Sugar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Cornstarch |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Salt |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Grated lemon rind |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Fresh lemon juice |
10 | Lemon slices |
Combine apple cider, sugar, cornstarch, and salt in a small saucepan, and stir with a wire whisk until blended.
Bring to a boil, and cook for 1 minute or until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in remaining ingredients.
Serve sauce warm. Yield: 11/2 cups (serving size: 2 tablespoons).
