1 1/2 cups | 60g / 2.1oz | Fresh basil leaves |
2 | Garlic cloves - peeled | |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Pine nuts |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Parmesan cheese - grated |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Lemon juice - freshly squeezed |
Put the basil, garlic, pine nuts and Parmesan cheese in a blender or food processor. Turn the machine on and drizzle in the lemon juice. Continue to puree until a smooth paste is formed.
