Steak With Thai Peanut Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1/3 cup | 78ml | Creamy peanut butter |
2 | Garlic | |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Water |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Soy sauce |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Fresh lime juice |
1 | Jalapeno - seeded and quartered | |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Ginger root - freshly grated |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Sugar |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Cayenne pepper |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Plain yogurt |
Reserved pepper steak - sliced across grain 1/4" thick | ||
1 cup | 160g / 5.6oz | Uncooked jasmine rice - cooked |
3 | Green onions - thinly sliced |
In blender container, process peanut butter, garlic, water, soy sauce, lime juice, jalapeno pepper, ginger, sugar and cayenne until smooth. Stir in yogurt.
To Serve: Heat sauce in medium skillet over low heat, toss in sliced pepper steak until heated through.
Serve over Jasmine rice. Sprinkle with sliced green onions.
