Indonesian Chicken and Beef Satay Recipe - Cooking Index

Marinade | ||
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sweet soy sauce* |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Lemon juice |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Hot vegetable oil |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Coriander |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Hot vegetable oil |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Lemon juice |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sweet soy sauce* |
Indonesian Soy Sauce | ||
1 cup | 237ml | Chinese or Japanese soy sauce |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Molasses |
Mix together marinate and pour over bite-size pieces of meat. Let marinate for two hours.
Thread bite-size portions of meat on bamboo sticks (do not use metal).
Grill over charcoal coals until well done but not dry.
Baste as necessary. Mix only; no cooking.
