Indonesian Chicken and Beef Satay

Recipe Ingredients

2   Chicken breasts
1 lb 454g / 16ozBeef tenderloin
  Marinade
2 tablespoons 30mlSweet soy sauce*
1 teaspoon 5mlLemon juice
3 tablespoons 45mlHot vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlCoriander
2 tablespoons 30mlHot vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlSalt
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlLemon juice
2 tablespoons 30mlSweet soy sauce*
  Indonesian Soy Sauce
1 cup 237mlChinese or Japanese soy sauce
1/2 cup 118mlMolasses

Recipe Instructions

Mix together marinate and pour over bite-size pieces of meat. Let marinate for two hours.

Thread bite-size portions of meat on bamboo sticks (do not use metal).

Grill over charcoal coals until well done but not dry.

Baste as necessary. Mix only; no cooking.
