Chicken Satay - 3 Recipe - Cooking Index
4 | Chicken breasts - boneless, skinless | |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Sesame oil |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Soy sauce |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lemon juice |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Gingerroot - minced |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Liquid honey |
3 | Garlic - minced | |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Coriander |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Cumin |
1 | Hot pepper flakes |
Cut chicken lengthwise into thin strips; thread onto soaked wooden skewers.
Place in glass baking dish.
Whisk together oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, ginger, honey, garlic, coriander, cumin and hot pepper flakes; pour over chicken, turning to coat well.
Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Reserving marinade, cook chicken on greased grill over high heat or broil, basting with marinade, for 5 to 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink inside.
