Turkey-Apple-Cheese Sandwiches Recipe - Cooking Index
1/3 cup | 78ml | Vanilla low-fat yogurt |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Mango chutney |
8 | Grain sandwich bread slices - ¥ | |
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Thinly sliced smoked turkey |
1 1/2 | Fuji or gala apples | |
(sliced into 24 pieces) | ||
1/4 lb | 113g / 4oz | Thinly sliced muenster cheese |
Vegetable cooking spray |
Combine yogurt and chutney, and stir well. Spread 2 tablespoons yogurt mixture over each of 4 bread slices; top each with turkey, apple, cheese, and a bread slice.
Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray; place over medium heat until hot. Add sandwiches; cook 3 minutes on each side or until golden.
