Smoked Turkey-And-Watercress Pitas With Brown Mustard Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1/4 cup | 59ml | Plain nonfat yogurt |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Spicy hot mustard |
2 | Pita bread rounds - cut in half | |
4 | Smoked turkey breast | |
8 | Unpeeled tomato - (1/4-inch-thick) | |
1 cup | 237ml | Loosely packed trimmed watercress |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Shredded low-fat - low-sodium Swiss cheese, (2 ounces) |
Combine yogurt and mustard in a bowl, and stir well. Spread mustard sauce evenly on inside surface of each pita half.
Place 1 turkey slice, 2 tomato slices, and 1/4 cup watercress in each half; sprinkle with 2 tablespoons cheese.
Yield: 4 servings (serving size: 1 pita half).
