| 1 1/2 cups | 93g / 3.3oz | Chopped onion |
| 1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Chopped green bell pepper |

| 2/3 cup | 157ml | Water |
| 1/2 cup | 118ml | No-salt-added catsup |
| 2 tablespoons | 30ml | Prepared mustard |
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Chili powder |
| 1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Ground cumin |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
| 1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Pepper |
| 16 oz | 454g | No-salt-added tomato sauce - (2 cans) |
| 15 oz | 426g | Black beans - (1 can) drained |
| 14 oz | 397g | No-salt-added whole tomatoes - (1 can) |

| 6 oz | 170g | Tomato paste - (1 can) |
| 1 1/2 oz | 42g | Hamburger buns - (13) |
Cook first 4 ingredients in a large Dutch oven over medium heat until browned, stirring to crumble. Remove mixture from pan; drain and pat dry with paper towels.
Wipe drippings from pan with a paper towel.
Return meat mixture to pan. Add water and next 10 ingredients; stir well. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Yield: 13 servings (serving size: 1 bun and 2/3 cup meat mixture).
Serving Ideas : Serve with hamburger buns.
