Two Tomato Salsa Recipe - Cooking Index
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Diced unpeeled plum tomato |
1 | -- minced garlic | |
1 cup | 62g / 2.2oz | Unpeeled green tomato |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Diced green bell pepper |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Coarsely ground pepper |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Chopped purple onion |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Fresh lime juice |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Finely chop jalapeno pepper |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Olive oil |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Finely chop fresh cilantro |
Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Stir well. Serve at room temperature or chilled.
Use a slotted spoon to serve with corn tortilla wedges, poultry, or fish. Yields 3 cups.
