Thai Sweet Chili Sauce Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 118ml | Rice vinegar |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Minced serrano chili |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Sugar |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Ground red chili paste |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Plum sauce |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Sweet paprika |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Thai fish sauce |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Fresh lime or lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | All-purpose flour - mixed |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Tomato paste |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Cold water |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Minced garlic |
Combine all ingredients and 1/2 c water in a small saucepan, and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 4 minutes. Let cool. Will keep in refrigerator for 3 days.
