Thai Banana Salsa Recipe - Cooking Index
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Firm-ripe banana (large) |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Oriental sesame oil |
1/2 cup | 80g / 2.8oz | Chopped golden raisins |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped fresh cilantro |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Grated lemon peel |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Japanese chili spice |
1. Peel and halve lengthwise banana. In a nonstick 10-12" frying pan over high heat, brown banana well in sesame oil, about 8 minutes.
2. Chop banana. Mix with raisins, cilantro, lemon peel and Japanese chili spice.
