Sassy Salsa

Recipe Ingredients

5   Garlic - minced
5   Green onions - sliced into
1   Green - red or yellow bell
  Pepper
1   Purple bell pepper, cut into rings
4   Ripe tomatoes - cored, seeded (large)
1/8 cup 29mlRed wine vinegar or herbed - and diced
1 cup 62g / 2.2ozOnion - diced (medium)
1   Lime - juice of
2   Hot peppers - such as
1 teaspoon 5mlFreshly ground pepper
2   Jalapeno peppers - minced
1   Cilantro - chopped
1   Salt

Recipe Instructions

In a medium mixing bowl with a cover, stir together garlic, peppers, tomatoes, onion, hot peppers, cilantro, and green onions.

In a small mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, vinegar, lime juice, pepper, chili powder and salt.

Pour dressing over vegetables and mix completely. Cover and refrigerate several hours to let flavors meld, then return to room temperature before serving.

Yield: About 4 cups
