Salsa Verde - 1

Recipe Ingredients

1   Mexican green tomatoes
  (10oz) - drained
1/4 cup 15g / 0.5ozOnions - finely chopped
1 tablespoon 15mlCilantro; coarsely chopped
1 teaspoon 5mlCanned serrano chiles
  Drained - rinsed, and
  Finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlGarlic - finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon 2.5mlSalt
1/8 teaspoon 0.6mlFreshly ground black pepper

Recipe Instructions

In a small bow, combine the tomatoes, onions, coriander, chili, garlic, salt and pepper to taste.

Mix gently, but thoroughly together. Taste for seasoning.

Refrigerate if not to be used immediately. It will only keep for a couple of days.

Yield: 1 cup.
