Salsa Ranchero (Ranch Style Salsa) Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Pico de gallo salsa |
1 cup | 237ml | Tomato sauce |
1 cup | 16g / 0.6oz | Cilantro - minced |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Tomato paste |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Sugar |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Oregano |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Black pepper |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Saffron |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Vinegar |
Use the metal blade of a food processor to process all the ingredients except the tomato juice until well blended.
Simmer over medium heat for 10-15 minutes. Thin with tomato juice if needed. Taste and adjust salt.
