Salsa De Chiles Chipotles Recipe - Cooking Index
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Tomatillos - fresh, husked and (medium) washed |
2 | Garlic - unpeeled | |
3 | Chiles chipotles in adobo sauce - seeded | |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Water |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Adobo sauce from chiles - optional |
Roast the tomatillos until blackened and soft.
Roast the garlic until soft, then peel and chop.
Place all the ingredients in a blender and puree.
If smokier flavored is desired, add a teaspoon or two of the sauce from the chiles chipotle
