Salsa Alla Marinara (Mariner's Sauce) Recipe - Cooking Index
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Garlic cloves - minced |
1/4 cup | 23g / 0.8oz | Minced parsley |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Olive oil |
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Chopped - peeled tomatoes |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Crumbled - dried oregano |
Salt and pepper to taste |
Sautee garlic and parsley in oil. When garlic is delicately brown, add tomatoes, oregano, salt and pepper.
Simmer for 30 minutes, or until well-blended and thick.
Makes about 1 1/2 cups.
