| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Lemon juice |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Salt |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chopped fresh oregano or |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dried oregano |
| 1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chopped fresh basil or |
| 1 teaspoon | 5ml | Dried basil |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Tabasco sauce |
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Tomatoes - seeded and chopped (medium) |

Heat oil in medium fry pan. Sautee onion until tender, about 3 to 4 minutes. Add green pepper, garlic, parsley, lemon juice, salt, oregano, basil and Tabasco sauce; cook 2 minutes.
Remove fry pan from heat and stir in tomatoes and pears. Cover and refrigerate.
Makes 5 cups.
