Homemade Salsa - 2 Recipe - Cooking Index
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Chopped jalapeno peppers - (or to taste) |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Chopped onion (medium) |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Garlic powder |
1/2 cup | 8g / 0.3oz | Chopped fresh cilantro |
2 | Fresh limes - juice of | |
6 | Fresh tomatoes with skins | |
6 | Chopped tomatillos | |
Salt and pepper to taste |
For a chunky-type salsa: finely chop onion, garlic, cilantro, tomatillos and jalapeno peppers.
You may want to remove seeds from peppers.
Mix and add tomatoes, lime juice, salt and pepper.
Mix well until the tomatoes are liquefied but lumpy.
For smoother salsa: put all ingredients into a blender
