2 tablespoons | 30ml | Butter |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Ground ancho or pasilla |
2 | Onions - chopped | |
2 | Garlic cloves - sliced | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Tarragon vinegar |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Flour |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Dried oregano |
1 | Tomatoes - (14 oz) | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Brown sugar - packed |
Melt butter in skillet. Brown onions and garlic.
Stir in flour and add tomatoes, ground chile, vinegar, oregano and brown sugar.
Simmer 15 minutes.
