Turkey/Grape Salad Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/2 cups | 93g / 3.3oz | Cooked turkey or chicken (to 2 cups) - in chunks or shreds |
1 | Romaine lettuce (or any mixture of lettuce - bite-sized pieces | |
4 | Celery - sliced | |
1 cup | 93g / 3.3oz | Peanuts or almonds - shelled |
40 | Red grapes - whole or in half | |
Favorite Italian vinaigrette dressing | ||
1/4 cup | 59ml | Mayonnaise |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Red wine vinegar |
Put torn lettuce and celery slices in large salad bowl. Add Italian vinaigrette to taste and toss to mix.
Put cooked turkey (or chicken) meat in smaller bowl. Dust with salt and pepper to taste. Add 1/4 cup Mayo and 2 tbs red wine vinegar. Toss to mix well. Add grapes and peanuts (or almonds).
Toss again to mix. "Artfully" top the romaine/celery mix in the larger bowl with the Turkey/grape/peanut mixture. Serve!
