Turkey Taco Salad Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Lean ground turkey |
1 | Mild green chilies - drained | |
1/2 | Taco seasoning mix | |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Water |
2 cups | 474ml | Lettuce - shredded |
2 | Tomatoes - chopped | |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Cheddar cheese - shredded |
1/2 | Tortilla chips |
Saute turkey in large nonstick skillet over high heat until browned, about 5 minutes, stirring with fork to break up clumps.
Drain any fat from skillet. Stir in chilies, seasoning mix and water; cook over high heat until liquid is evaporated.
To serve: Divide meat mixture among plates. Top with lettuce, tomatoes and cheese.
Serve with chips.
