Sweet-Sour Slaw Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Vinegar |
1 | Sauerkraut - drained | |
1 | Bean sprouts - drained | |
1 | Pimento - chopped | |
2 cups | 396g / 13oz | Sugar |
2 cups | 220g / 7.8oz | Celery - chopped |
1 | Green pepper - chopped | |
2 cups | 125g / 4.4oz | Onion - chopped |
Boil vinegar and sugar for 2 minutes and allow to cool.
Combine chopped items with sauerkraut and bean sprouts.
Pour vinegar sauce over the ingredients and allow to stand overnight.
This will keep well in the refrigerator in a covered container.
