Spicy Noodle Salad Recipe - Cooking Index
12 oz | 340g | Spaghetti |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sesame oil |
1 1/2 cups | 165g / 5.8oz | Carrots - grated |
1 1/2 cups | 240g / 8.5oz | Bean sprouts |
4 | Green onions - chopped | |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Orange rind - grated |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Orange juice |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Tahini (optl) |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Soy sauce |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Granulated sugar |
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Hot pepper sauce |
1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Peanuts - chopped |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Fresh coriander - chopped |
In large pot of boiling salted water, cook spaghetti for 8-10 minutes or until tender but firm; drain and rinse under cold water.
Drain well and transfer to bowl; toss with sesame oil.
Add carrots, bean sprouts, onions and orange rind.
Combine orange juice, tahini, soy sauce, sugar and hot pepper sauce; toss with spaghetti mixture.
Sprinkle with peanuts and coriander.
