Southwestern Salad Recipe - Cooking Index
2 1/2 cups | 156g / 5.5oz | Corn chips |
1/2 | Iceberg lettuce - torn | |
1 cup | 146g / 5.1oz | Mexican or cheddar cheese - shredded |
1 | Pinto beans - rinsed and drained | |
1 | Tomato - seeded and diced (small) | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Salad dressing of your choice |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Green onion - sliced |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped green chilies |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Avocado - peeled and sliced (small) |
In a serving bowl or platter, toss chips, lettuce, cheese, beans, tomato, salad dressing, onions and chilies.
Top with avocado.
Serve immediately.
