Sauce | ||
1 cup | 237ml | Low-fat creme frache/sour cream |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Mustard |
1 | Apple | |
1 | Dill | |
Tarragon - to taste |
Peel, core, and finely dice the apples - cut a few slices with the skin on for decoration. Finely shred the cabbage. Slice potatoes, leek, and bacon. Finely dice the cheese and alternate all ingredients in a salad bowl or "portion-wise" for the outing.
Stir creme frache/sour cream and mustard for the sauce. Peel, core, and finely chop the apple. Finely chop the dill. Stir down apple and dill in the sauce - you decide how much dill you want - and flavor with tarragon
Part the sauce on top of the salad and decorate with the thin apple slices
