Mom's Oriental Salad Recipe - Cooking Index
| Dressing Mix | ||
| 1/4 cup | 59ml | Oil |
| 1/2 cup | 99g / 3.5oz | Sugar |
| 1/3 cup | 78ml | Vinegar |
| 2 teaspoons | 10ml | Light soy sauce (to 3) |
| Salad | ||
| 1 | Broccoli slaw | |
| 1 cup | 110g / 3.9oz | Sunflower seeds |
| 1 | Water chestnuts drain | |
| Bean sprouts or bamboo shoots - optional | ||
| The Finish | ||
| 2 | Ramen noodles |
Mix dressing ingredients together, but don't put on salad until ready to use.
Mix salad ingredients together.
When ready to serve, pour dressing over all, and crush 2 bags of ramen noodles over the salad (don't use packets enclosed).
Mix and serve.
