Lime Velvet Salad Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Lime Jell-O | |
1/2 cup | 55g / 1.9oz | Celery - chopped fine |
1 cup | 237ml | Boiling water |
1/4 cup | 36g / 1.3oz | Nuts - chopped |
1 | Cream cheese | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Heavy cream - whipped |
2/3 cup | 157ml | Crushed pineapple, w/juice |
Cherries (optional garnish) |
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Add chunks of cream cheese. Using mixer, beat at medium speed until well blended.
Chill until slightly congealed.
Add pineapple, celery and nuts. Fold in whipped cream.
Pour in 3 cup mold and let set.
Turn out on lettuce leaf and garnish with cherries if desired.
