Jicama Cucumber and Orange Salad Recipe - Cooking Index
3/4 lb | 340g / 11oz | Jicama - peeled and cubed |
1 | Cucumber - seeded, thickly | |
Sliced | ||
2 | Oranges - peeled, cubed | |
3 | Green onions - sliced | |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Lime juice |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Orange juice |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Chili powder |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Chopped mint |
Combine the jicama, cucumber, oranges and green onions in a glass bowl.
Combine the lime juice, orange juice, chili powder and salt; mix and pour over the salad ingredients.
Sprinkle the mint over the salad, toss and chill for at least 2 hours.
