Insalata D'Indivia - Endive Salad Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Endive lettuce | |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Olive oil |
1 | Garlic - minced | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Lemon juice |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Fresh chopped mint |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Pepper |
2 | Hard cooked eggs - chopped | |
1/3 cup | 78ml | Crisp cooked bacon bits |
1/3 cup | 48g / 1.7oz | Romano cheese - freshly grated |
Thoroughly wash the lettuce.
Trim and chop into bite size pieces.
Blend the oil, garlic, lemon and seasonings.
Pour over the lettuce Place in a serving bowl.
Sprinkle with egg, bacon and cheese. Serve at once.
