Hot Japanese Spinach Salad Recipe - Cooking Index
1 lb | 454g / 16oz | Fresh spinach - washed, drained |
1/2 lb | 227g / 8oz | Fresh bean sprouts - washed, drained |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sugar |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Distilled white vinegar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Kikkoman soy sauce |
2 teaspoons | 10ml | Sesame seed - toasted |
Place spinach and bean sprouts in 2-quart microwave-safe baking dish. Cover; microwave on High 2 minutes.
Toss vegetables; cover and microwave on High 3 minutes. Meanwhile, combine sugar, vinegar, soy sauce and sesame seed, stirring until sugar dissolves; pour over vegetables and toss to combine.
