Recipe Ingredients

4   Young cucumbers - sliced
2   Carrots - thinly sliced
2   Onions - sliced (large)
3   Celery - sliced
1/3 cup 53g / 1.9ozBrown sugar
3/4 cup 177mlVinegar
1 tablespoon 15mlSalt
1 teaspoon 5mlMsg
1 cup 237mlWater
1/4 lb 113g / 4ozSmoked salmon - (lox)

Recipe Instructions

Should be prepared ahead Combine sugar, vinegar, salt, water, MSG, and bring to a boil.

Pour over sliced vegetables. Cool.

Refrigerate overnight.

Serve with thin slices of smoked salmon.
