Fresh Broccoli Salad Recipe - Cooking Index

| 1 | Or bunch broccoli* | |
| 1 | Red or white onion - chopped (small) | |
| 1/2 | Bacon - cooked and crumbled | |
| 1/2 | Mozzarella cheese - shredded | |
| 1/2 cup | 73g / 2.6oz | Walnuts (to 1 cup) - chopped |
| Dressing | ||
| 1 cup | 237ml | Mayonnaise |
| 1/3 cup | 65g / 2.3oz | Sugar |
| 2 | White vinegar |
* separate top into bite size pieces and peel and slice stems-use it all (I usually use 2 bunches)
Toss the salad ingredients together in a large bowl.
Mix together ingredients in dressing and add to salad. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
Salad is great the next day, too. (I usually add chopped walnuts)
