Easy Summer Cabbage Slaw Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Green cabbage - cut into chunks | |
4 | Celery - cut into chunks | |
3 | Carrots - in bite-sized chunks | |
1 | Green pepper - in bite-sized chunks | |
1 | Red pepper - in bite-sized chunks | |
1/2 cup | 55g / 1.9oz | Toasted Sesame Seeds - optional |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Salad oil |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sugar |
1 | Salt and pepper | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Vinegar |
Combine cabbage, celery, carrots, the peppers, and optional sesame seeds.
Mix oil, sugar, salt, pepper and vinegar.
Toss the dressing well with the salad ingredients to blend.
Salad "holds" and keeps for up to 3 days if refrigerated.
