Dried Fruit Sauce For Fresh Fruit Recipe - Cooking Index
1/2 cup | 118ml | Water and apple juice |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Dried cherries |
Confectioner's sugar or honey to taste |
Bring water and apple juice to a boil; pour over cherries and steep for as long as possible.
Sweeten to taste if need be with sugar or honey.
Serve hot over ice cream, fresh fruit or cake.
Yield: 1 cup
