Corned Beef Salad Recipe - Cooking Index
2 | Lemon gelatin powder | |
2 cups | 474ml | Hot water |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Vinegar |
1 cup | 237ml | Mayonnaise |
1 | Corned beef - shredded | |
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Onion - finely chopped |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Green bell pepper - finely chopped |
2 cups | 220g / 7.8oz | Celery - chopped |
Spicy mustard - optional |
Dissolve the gelatin in the hot water and vinegar.
Cool and add the remaining ingredients. Pour into a 6 cup mold and chill until firm.
Mustard may be added to the ingredients for those who like a spicy salad.
Variation: Two tbs. horseradish may be substituted for the mustard.
