Citrus Romaine Salad With Strawberries Recipe - Cooking Index

1 tablespoon | 15ml | Sherry vinegar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Honey |
1 1/2 teaspoons | 7.5ml | Vegetable oil |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Pepper |
5 cups | 1185ml | Romaine lettuce - shredded |
Tightly-packed | ||
1 cup | 237ml | Fresh strawberries - halved |
1/2 cup | 31g / 1.1oz | Purple onion - vertically sliced |
Peel and section oranges over a small bowl; squeeze membranes to extract juice. Set sections aside; reserve juice, and discard membranes.
Combine 2 tablespoons reserved juice, vinegar, and next 4 ingredients; stir well with a wire whisk.
Combine lettuce, strawberries, and onion in a large bowl; toss gently.
To serve, pour dressing over lettuce mixture, tossing gently to coat.
