Cheater's Salad Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Romaine lettuce - washed, dried and | |
Torn | ||
2 | Green onions - sliced thin | |
1 | Mandarin oranges - well-drained | |
1/2 cup | 46g / 1.6oz | Sliced almonds - toasted |
Your favorite poppy seed bottled dressing | ||
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Raspberry vinegar |
Place lettuce, green onions and half of oranges in salad bowl. Into a measuring cup, pour 1/3 cup dressing; add vinegar. Stir. Pour over greens and toss.
If this is not enough dressing for you, or you're using more lettuce, you may want to add a tablespoon more or so of dressing.
Sprinkle top with remaining oranges and toasted almonds. Serves 4; wins raves every time.
