(Warming Cajeta in the microwave for several seconds will allow for even easier serving.)
Peel oranges and separate into sections. Reserve orange peel. In a saucepan, boil water, sugar and orange peel for 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine all fruit and top with orange peel syrup. Refrigerate until cold.
Using a large spoon, drizzle Cajeta over fruit salad before serving.
Another easy-to-prepare dessert that will delight your guests are sliced ripe bananas, covered in cajeta.
