Boston Lettuce Salad With Sesame Dressing Recipe - Cooking Index
1 | Boston lettuce - rinsed, drained, chilled | |
Vinaigrette Dressing | ||
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Vegetable oil |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | White vinegar |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Dijon mustard |
1/4 teaspoon | 1.3ml | Salt |
Fresh ground pepper | ||
3 tablespoons | 45ml | Toasted sesame seeds |
Arrange lettuce on individual salad plates.
Combine oil, vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper; mix well.
Toast sesame seeds in 350 oven in flat pan for 10-12 minutes or until golden.
Immediately before serving, drizzle dressing over lettuce; top with sesame seeds.
