Shells with Broccoli Tomato Sauce (10 PTS)

Serves: 4 people

Recipe Ingredients

2   Bacon slices - chopped
1   Onion - chopped
1   Tomato sauce - (26-28oz)
20   Frozen chopped broccoli
1   Shell pasta
1   2% low-fat milk
1/4   Grated parmesan cheese

Recipe Instructions

1. Cook bacon and onion in large pot over medium high

heat until onion is tender, about 5 minutes. Add pasta sauce and bring to

a boil. Stir in broccoli, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes. Meanwhile, cook

shells according to package directions.

2. Stir half-and-half into sauce; heat through. Serve

shells tossed with sauce and sprinkled with Parmesan.

Per serving: 850 calories (28% from fat); 26 g fat.
