Sauce for Meatballs (1 PT) Recipe - Cooking Index
8 | Tomato sauce - 1 can | |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Ketchup |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Brown sugar - heaped |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Onion - finely chopped |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Pickle relish - drained |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Water |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Worcestershire sauce |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Vinegar |
Pepper to taste |
Combine tomato sauce, ketchup, sugar & onion. Cook over medium heat until
sugar is dissolved and onion is tender. Stir in remaining ingredients and
heat to steaming. Pour over meatballs.
