No-Fat White Sauce (6 PTS) Recipe - Cooking Index
1 cup | 237ml | Lite evaporated milk |
1 | Cornstarch | |
2 | Butter buds | |
1/8 teaspoon | 0.6ml | Pepper |
2 | Parsley |
1. In nonstick saucepan over high heat, combine milk and cornstarch
2. Stir with wire whisk until smooth.
3. Add butter buds and pepper, stirring constantly.
4. Bring sauce to boil for 1 minute.
5. Remove from heat and stir in parsley.
6. For thicker sauce, add more cornstarch.
7. Serve over potates, chicken or fish.
8. Great gravy base.
Makes 1 cup.
