1/2 | Onion - chopped | |
1/4 | Green pepper - chopped | |
1 1/4 | Salt | |
1/2 | Marjoram | |
1 | Worcestershire sauce | |
1/8 | Pepper | |
1 | Chopped tomatoes - (15 oz) | |
1/4 | Barley - quick cooking | |
1 1/2 cups | 355ml | Water |
1. In a large saucepan, saute the beef, celery, onions, and green pepper
until the beef is browned, about 15 minutes. Drain.
2. Add the remaining ingredients, except the water, label and freeze.
3. When preparing to serve, thaw and add 1-1/2 cups water. Simmer 30 minutes
covered or until barley is tender.
