Green Pea & Rice Amandine (2 PTS)

Recipe Ingredients

2 teaspoons 10mlReduced-calorie margarine
1 cup 237mlFrozen baby green peas
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlGround cardamom
1/4 teaspoon 1.3mlGround cinnamon
1   Ground cloves
1   White pepper
3/4 cup 120g / 4.2ozCooked white rice
2 teaspoons 10mlSlivered almonds

Recipe Instructions

Melt margarine in medium nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add peas,

cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and pepper. Cook and stir 10 minutes or until

peas are tender. Add rice. Cook until heated through, stirring occasionally.

Sprinkle almonds evenly over servings.
