Crockpot Beef and Peppers (6 PTS) Recipe - Cooking Index
2 lbs | 908g / 32oz | Lean round steak - trim all fat |
2 | Green peppers - sliced thin | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Dried onions - 1 used two large fresh onions |
1 cup | 237ml | Beef broth |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Low sodium soy sauce |
1 | Worcestershire sauce | |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Ground ginger |
1 | Garlic - minced ( I used 4 cloves) |
Cut the steak into serving size pieces. Put the vegetables in the bottom of
the crockpot, then put the steak in a single layer on top of the vegetables.
Pour the rest of the ingreds. over the top. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours
or high for about 4 hours. I found that I needed to add more water because
it was so salty. Then when it was almost done I thickened it with a little
flour.
