Blueberry Barbecue Sauce (1 PT) Recipe - Cooking Index
1 teaspoon | 5ml | Olive oil |
1/4 cup | 15g / 0.5oz | Chopped onions |
1 | Jalapeno - seeded and chopped | |
1 | Fresh blueberries | |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Rice wine vinegar |
1 1/2 tablespoons | 22ml | Dark brown sugar |
1 tablespoon | 15ml | Dijon mustard |
1/4 cup | 59ml | Water |
Saute the onions and jalapeno in olive oil over medium-high heat in a small
saucepan until limp, 2 to 3 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and cook
at a low boil for 15 minutes, stirring often. Puree the sauce in a blender
or food processor until smooth.
