White Chocolate Berry Pie Recipe - Cooking Index
1 1/2 cups | 219g / 7.7oz | Graham cracker crumbs - or chocolate crumbs |
1/4 cup | 49g / 1.7oz | Soft margarine - melted |
4 | White chocolate | |
8 oz | 227g | Light cream cheese - softened |
2 tablespoons | 30ml | Sugar |
1/2 teaspoon | 2.5ml | Almond extract |
19 oz | 539g | Canned mixed berry pie filling - divided |
1/2 cup | 118ml | Whipping cream |
Combine crumbs and margarine. Press evenly over bottom and sides of a 9" pie plate.
Bake at 375F for 8 minutes. Cool. Melt white chocolate over hot water.
Beat cream cheese, sugar and almond extract until smooth.
Blend in chocolate. Fold 1 cup pie filling into chocolate mixture.
Beat whipping cream until stiff, fold into chocolate mixture.
Spoon into crumb crust.
Spoon remaining pie filling in center of pie.
Refrigerate at least 3 hours.
